Israeli Vaccine to Stop Cancer from Returning to Patients
(Nes Ziona, ISRAEL) An Israeli company is developing a new cancer drug which aims to stop cancer from coming back.
Every year millions of people are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Although modern medicine has made huge progress in treating this disease, what often happens is that the cancer is treated and the patient goes into remission or is even "cured" - but then it becomes a waiting game to see if the cancer comes back.
Imagine if there was a new treatment option that would stop cancer from returning! An Israeli medical team is attempting to do just that, to offer a new treatment with the potential for long-term maintenance - to stop the cancer from coming back.

Israel Nuclear Facility Receives 'Spiritual Protection'
(Dimona, ISRAEL) The Israeli Dimona nuclear reactor facility now has an extra layer of protection - spiritual protection. A new Torah scroll and synagogue with room for 300 people were recently dedicated at the site.
Workers at the nuclear facility in the northern Negev have been praying in a bomb shelter there for many years and nuclear reactor have American billionaire and philanthropist Ira Rennert responded to an initiative for the new synagogue which was launched last year.

Gilad Schalit Cannot Attend a Soccer Match?
Controversy has erupted over Gilad Schalit attending a Barcelona-Real Madrid soccer match. Gilad, the IDF soldier who was held captive in the Gaza Strip for over five years loves sports and even writes a sports column for an Israeli newspaper.
Palestinians protested what they thought was an invitation for Schalit to attend the match and said "Soccer is a sport that carries the message of freedom and love" and an "aggressor" should not be invited to take part in such a match.

Democratic Israel is Heading For Elections
Israel proves once again that it is the only true democracy in the Middle East. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for elections to take place in the beginning of 2013.
Netanyahu announced: "My obligation as prime minister is to put the national interest above all else, and therefore I decided that the good of Israel requires going to elections now, as soon as possible...So after four years, we will go to elections. I will seek a new mandate to continue to lead the people of Israel."
